Akiko was counting her savings for new year celebration that could bring fortune to their house. “Oh dear, I don’t see that we have enough money to buy any rice cakes for the new year,” said Akiko. “Don’t worry honey, there must be some way that we can figure out,” replied Takeshi. Akiko left the place saying this and returned with her wedding kimono. The kimono is a traditional dress that Japanese women wear. “Sell this and get us rice cakes for the new year,” said Akiko.
